Waters on the surface of the earth are together flowing
to the ocean where all streams and rivers come joining.
This UPC represents JOINING and directives guiding.
Here All the lines ( except the ruling fifth ) are yielding.
They are influenced by the strong fifth line's directing.
This strong one is the focus around whom all are uniting.
While HOLDING with these others the strong one is guiding.
Alignment with the strong one's vision they must be showing.
This is JOINING and the rules regulating internal policy.
If you possess perseverance and sublime consistancy
those who are uncertain gradually join you eventually
(but those who come late will miss their opportunity).
All must serve to compliment each other, mutually,
while gathering 'round someone with the right personality.
To be a center of such influence is a great responsibility
necessitating great spirit, strength, and constancy.
Anyone attempting the task without appropriate calling
will only make matters worse and make it more confusing.
When there is a legitimate call, and time for rallying,
there will be those heeding the call and some hesitating.
Late-comers will suffer the consequences for late joining
for relationships are formed and established according
to principles and common experiences, strengthening.
Those who come too late will pay for it ...straggling.
6 IN 2ND PLACE:
One keeps to oneself... religiously.
This perseverance brings opportunity.
If someone responds consistently
to the behests of a superiority,
and does it the appropriate way,
one doesn't lose ones identity.
But if one seeks to join a society
of others, behaving obsequiously,
one foolishly throws oneself away.
SIX IN THE THIRD PLACE:
When in company of those outside our sphere
we must not be drawn into false habitual fare.
Needless to say... This can only lead to dispair.
Sociability, without much intimacy, is proper
because, there is possibility, it might interfere
with our associating with our own kind later.
6 IN 4TH PLACE:
Someone takes central role of unity
and we show our attachment openly
but we must keep our individuality
in order to avoid being led astray.
Perseverance brings opportunity.
NINE IN 5TH PLACE:
The king takes those voluntarily coming closer, or,
on each side the king uses what's called a "beater"
(one side is left open to allow some game to scatter
with some passing close to the royal hunter.
This way the hunt is not reduced to slaughter.
This represents an influential ruler
accepting those voluntarily coming closer.
These can speak freely without "police measure"
and cleave to the ruler under their own power.
(We should not have to pander people's favor
if we cultivate a strength that's pure.)
SIX AT THE TOP:
One finds no head for joining together.
If the beginning is not in right order
there is no hope of finding end proper.
If we miss timing for holding together,
by vacillating, we'll rue this error.
